For Artists: 7 Affordable Ways to Express Gratitude

You don’t have to spend big bucks just to show people you appreciate them. All you need is a bucket of sincerity and an affordable medium to express it. Gratitude can even be expressed for free as long as it’s personal and genuine. Here are some of the cheapest ways you can thank your fans:

Send a personal e-mail. If someone was being kind to you or if a bunch of people make you feel special, it wouldn’t hurt to send a personal message. Just make sure you write the correct names and you don’t recycle messages. The best way to do this is remember the specific act of kindness these people have shown you. Be specific.

Just call to say “thank you.” If you have their number, a quick call just to thank them (and nothing else! No promoting stuff whatsoever) is one nice way to thank people. Just make it quick and sweet. Even if you thanked them in person before, it’s always nice to have a follow-up. Just remind them of how thankful you are. It won’t hurt.

Snail Mail a postcard. Post cards are so affordable, easy to make, easy to store, and easy to ship. Make at least 100 pieces and send them away. Make sure you write a personal notes at the back.

Compose a sincere status or tweet. If you’re too busy to do any of the ones mentioned above, then go ahead compose a tweet. This only applies to fans and acquaintances. If someone gave you a big favor, tweeting to thank them is not so classy.

Give small freebies to your loyal supporters. If you’re a musician, you can carry around some personalized guitar picks or stickers so that when supporters approach you, you have something to hand them. If you’re a filmmaker, you can give buttons or stickers. Choose something light and cheap so it’s easy to carry.

Write special thanks on your website. Put logos of your sponsors and names of your loyal helpers and supporters in one page of your website. Not only will this make them feel good, it will also encourage others to help you.

Give special gifts on holidays to all the people that’s been good to you. Christmas season is one great time to thank people. It’s the closing ceremony of your year so it’s a great time to look back and thank the people who’ve made your year wonderful. If you have money for gifts, go ahead make a long list and give each one a special present. Better idea: make a Christmas album and send each one CDs with a special message.

So, you see? You don’t have to sacrifice your savings just to show people that they matter to you; All you need is sincerity and creativity. In case you need affordable custom gift items, visit our website ( www.unifiedmanufacturing.com) and we will help you come up with the perfect giveaway item.
