Music Packaging of the Week: Taylor Deupree – Faint

Artist: Taylor Deupree
Title: Faint
Label: 12k
Year: 2012
Designer:Taylor Deupree

This CD packaging for Taylor Deupree’s Faint looks a bit…(err) faint but I find its minimalist style very appealing. Its box looks like it’s stained by coffee or watercolor and it matches the ten Polaroid photos inside the box. What I do not like very much is the CD label itself. It looks like a cheap blank CD that you can buy in a bookstore. That would surely get mixed up with my other stray CDs. BUT maybe that kind of simplicity is what it’s aiming for.
