Vinyl Manufacturing: How Vinyl Records are Made (Video)

Vinyl is back! Actually, it never went out of style because it’s too wonderful of a medium to die. The 1960s is the golden age of vinyl. In the 80’s CDs hit the market and people start to prefer the convenience of CDs. A decade later when computer downloads enter the scene, it seems that the Vinyl LPs is on its way to extinction. But the classic format never disappeared because the sound quality is much better compared to digital. People also developed attachment to the medium. As a matter of fact, vinyl had a “rebirth” and became cutting edge again two years ago with millions of record sold in 2008.

Because of this, it is only necessary that we pay attention and give tribute to the medium by getting to know it a little more. If you want to find out how vinyls are manufactured, watch these videos courtesy of Discovery Channel and forwardbound.
